And I'm Not Even an Ann Coulter Fan!

Ann Coulter's scheduled appearance on NBC was abruptly cancelled: "We are just not interested in anyone so highly critical of President-elect Obama, right now," a TODAY insider reveals. "It's such a downer. It's just not the time, and it's not what our audience wants, either."

Oh really, because the anti-Bush, anti-conservative, anti-Christian rhetoric you have spewed for the past 4 years has been such an upper? And don't insult my intelligence by saying you aren't interested "right now". You will never be interested in anyone critical of Obama your chosen one.

Late Monday, NBC news made this statement: "We've had Ann Coulter on 'Today' many times, but because of the news in Washington and the Middle East, we decided to cancel her appearance tomorrow."

Interestingly enough, Coulter's spot was filled by Perez Hilton. WOW!
Now that, my friends, is journalism at its finest.

Oh no, I had no idea. I thought it was bad that I was getting nasty comments on my blog for complaining about Obama. No way...there goes our freedom of speech. Does anyone care that this is happening? Someone better sue and fight for their constitutional right.

Perez Hilton huh? Wow now that will be some fine reporting right there. The little gay man that tells it how it is. What is this world coming to???

Great post, Snarky...
Hello, my fellow AMERICANS...today's lesson is "Censhorship 101" at its finest. I am appalled, ashamed, and terrified at what we, as AMERICANS, have allowed to creep in and steal away from us...one of the very rights our forefathers lived and died to ensure their posterity would have...the right to speak our minds without fear of retribution and retaliation from our government (no...even with that right, you still cannot yell "Fire" in a crowded theatre....our forefathers exercised something called "common sense"). If our leaders allow, support, condone, or otherwise sanction such actions, then our government is failing us all.
What is happening...are we all going to sit by and watch every "Ann Coulter" (i.e. any NOBAMA fan)be silenced? Seriously, at what level will this apotheosizing stop...he is not deity!
I fear we are lambs headed to the slaughter...not in the whole martyrdom way either.....just the line up and "drink the kool-aid" way. SO SO SCARY......

I'm no big fan of Ann Coulter's, but this banning of her is completely outrageous! I think we should all write to NBC and complain...at least let them know this kind of garbage doesn't go unnoticed!

If I am not mistaken She WAS on Good Morning America. Maybe you need to switch your morning news show?????

Actually, I never watch the Today show. And, I am not a fan of Ann Coulter. I was just amazed at the situation. Pretty clear that the media is attempting to silence those who do not promote left-wing, liberal Obama-mania thinking.

And, NBC welcomed Bill "Domestic Terrorist" Ayers with open arms.

I so enjoyed watching her and Matt Lauer go at it this morning. I think what she had to say was so true. The Liberal Media is what got Obama elected. It will be interesting to see what the next four years brings. I loved that in his victory speech he said, "now change isn't going to happen overnight, maybe not even in one term" You know had McCain won and said that the media would have crucified him. Sad.

Ann Coulter did finally appear this morning, and Matt Lauer had his work cut out for him trying to rein her in. She pretty much ate him for breakfast. I'm not a real fan, but in this case it was great to sit back and watch her go. She might have been better served dishing up a tiny portion of graciousness, but I couldn't really fault the snarkiness all that much.

Actually, the absolute BEST would be if NONE of US watched ANY of THEM!!!!!! Then, who knows, maybe WE would become "the powers that be!".........If you don't have an audience, who cares what you are saying.....
Now, that would be a "perfect world"...no Ann Coulters, (who, I find a little full of herself) no liberal, bias media...just us..the little people!
