Why Spring Hasn't Sprung

Me: "Enough! I've had it with this weather. What's with all the gloomy? I need Spring. Warm sunshine. Blue skies. It's time for something other than chilly, rainy gloom. Seriously, what's the deal?"

Eight Year Old: "Hmmmmm, could be that Mother Nature's boyfriend broke up with her through a text message. Maybe she just couldn't take it. Cut her some slack Mom."

Mother Nature, listen up! It's time to put your big girl panties on and deal with it. I'm sure he wasn't good enough for you anyway, you can do better, he was a jerk....blah, blah, blah...come on girl. We need you at the top of your game. It would be greatly appreciated.

When we lived in Chicago (for the 3 years I managed to survive in that kind of climate), I could not believe how much I craved the sun. In fact, it finally drove me home to California. (Fortunately, Dave was on board with the idea...)

I seriously think I would have that Seasonal Affective Disorder if I lived anywhere else. I even find myself complaining about the relatively few dreary days we DO have.

Hope the sun is shining on you soon. In every literal and figurative way imaginable.

Much love and a few hugs thrown in for good measure...

=)

2 days ago it was 75 degrees. Today we have 6-8 inches of snow. Go figure. Mother nature is bipolar here.

That's a witty child. I think Annabelle is clever, but that surpasses. Come visit. Seriously.

Unfortunately, I am one of the secret hold-outs that the weather stays the same. AZ spring is the most beautiful time of year, and I do have a wedding in . . . 22 days!

I am over the winter too. I moved from SUNNY Florida to dreary Cincinnati and I am much need of the sun.

It has been so dreary up here and I can't take it.

Well, welcome back, belle! Seriously, you can't let the person who gave birth to you know you are up and running..........talk about getting thrown under the bus!! :)

woo-hoo she's back!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and for the record, snarkettes, don't let her even fool you, do not think she has been sitting idle these past few months and yes, she does get younger and younger. I believe Snarky has released her inner "jillian." She is a commando in the gym now! She looks wonderful(nothing new about that). Let's just say she can't whine about being a "tiny bit chubby" as Princie would say!
