People Make Me Laugh

Excerpt taken from an email I recently received:
"I started reading your blog. Wow, you're very snarky."

Really Einstein?
Soooo...what gave me away?

This just never gets old.

Why Spring Hasn't Sprung

Me: "Enough! I've had it with this weather. What's with all the gloomy? I need Spring. Warm sunshine. Blue skies. It's time for something other than chilly, rainy gloom. Seriously, what's the deal?"

Eight Year Old: "Hmmmmm, could be that Mother Nature's boyfriend broke up with her through a text message. Maybe she just couldn't take it. Cut her some slack Mom."

Mother Nature, listen up! It's time to put your big girl panties on and deal with it. I'm sure he wasn't good enough for you anyway, you can do better, he was a jerk....blah, blah, blah...come on girl. We need you at the top of your game. It would be greatly appreciated.

Easy Does It

A thought crossed my mind...

"Maybe I'm ready to go back to my spot."

For the first time since November, I peeked at my dashboard.

I had to click off the page.

My cheeks literally felt fiery heat.

I began to breathe heavily.

I'm so far behind on all of your events, news, etc.

I'll never be able to catch up, and that made me feel panicky.

So, I'm not really sure if I'm ready.
